I love this iron. It's light weight, holds a lot of water and gets hot and stays hot for longer than my last iron. The steam feature works great NO LEAKING. I really like that it can be used with or w/o the cord attached. Great for quilting when the cord can get in the way.

I bought this due to the high volume of complaints by my wife who does the laundry 95% of the time. She just didn't like the cord on our older iron, so I chose to buy her the Oreck Cordless Speed Iron. What a blessing.........she's praised my efforts and the irons performance. The Oreck Speed Iron model heats faster and works fabulously. If you've been waiting to buy a cordless, you'd better buy this one, it's second to none.

Received my first Oreck iron free with my vacuum about two years ago. I had been using a Rowetta (much more expensive, and very disappointing). The Oreck iron worked great, until I dropped it and damaged it. I went that day and purchased another Oreck iron. Totally love using this iron. I have purchased several other brands of irons through the years, but this has been my favorite!
