WE got this steamer just over three years ago and it has been great. We have literally use it at least 5 days a week for the last 3 years. We are only now having problems with the power button working every time it is pressed. We are starting to look for a replacement, but have been very satisfied with this one. It is definitely not the best steamer, and has its downfalls, but the functionality for the the price has been great for us.

I understand that you get what you pay for. That said, I expected at least a basic level of functionality from this brand new steamer. I've been through 2 now, and despite great patience have not been able to successfully steam anything completely. After filling the machine with different levels of water, holding the head at different heights, cleaning every part thoroughly, reassembling and trying again, both units have given me around 10 minutes of hot steam-total. In my experience the usual operation yields a small puff of steam every 5-10 seconds, which is just enough time to acidentally scald myself. In short, it turns out that I'm the only one this thing has steamed.

I have to rate the item in the middle, since it's hard to say if it's me or the merchandise. I didn't find the steamer easy to use. It goes together easily enough. During assembly, a plastic tab broke. It didn't affect the operation of the machine, was only cosmetic damage. I should have purchased one locally; the cost of shipping both ways (I returned it), negated any savings over a store bought steamer.
