My previous Iron broke when it was knocked off of the ironing board, the usual place where it was kept. Because of the price of the Rowenta iron, I decided to invest in a safer place to store it. Receiving this unit, I followed the included instructions to insert the board hooks, and mount to a 3/8" sheetrock wall. It is only held by two screws with simple dry-wall anchors. I was not impressed with the included hardware, and used my own anchors and screws, which hold the unit much better. The actual unit however is very well designed, and holds the iron, iron cord, and board very well.
